Feature request - Inactive reason "deceased" not able to check-in


I have a feature request.  For inactive records when the reason is deceased, please remove them from the ability to be checked-in.  

I understand that we could remove their phone number to prevent them from showing up in a search, but we really prefer not to remove information from their records.


  • There's already the ability to exclude Inactive Records during Check-In. Just set "CheckInIncludeInactivePeople" to false under Administration \ Organization and it will exclude those people from checking in. It is a good idea to exclude inactive so that way you have an opportunity to update their record if they left the church and have come back, as well as to exclude those records that are marked inactive / deceased.
