Arena Remote Check-In

We actually paid a developer to write a program for us called NextGate that takes the kids who checked into that room and displays them on a tablet for the greeters to verify that they arrived. It is an amazing program. Here are the advantages:

1. No more guessing about whether the kid actually arrived
2. No need to double check all those crazy third stickers most churches use.
3. The greeter knows who is on their way to the room.
4. When kids arrive it makes it much easier to greet them by name instead of asking for their name. This works well for us because we have so many kids. "I know I've seen this kid before, but I'm not positive of their name...." Super from a hospitality standpoint!
5. It can be used as a manned check-in for adult or youth events where we might not have phone numbers for checking people in. Our youth group uses this exclusively to check in hundreds of kids each week simply by name.

Unfortunately, he no longer supports it, so unless someone takes over the product (which he is willing to give away) I'm not sure how to help anyone else be able to use it!

Thank you for sharing. I am disappointed because as a now hosted customer, I can't add custom modules. When we were self hosted I had the ability to do that. If they do not add it to the hub we have no way of getting this feature, which would be so helpful.

To Arena Developers - Could you find a way to make this available to your hosted customers? It does matter for check in as more and more people want a touchless system.

We paid a developer to create a program for us that shows all the kids who checked into their room. They then tap the kid when they show up to the door. This allows us to easily who who made it and who didn't. It also allows the door greeter to know the names of the kids who are coming, so it really increases hospitality.
